Stalite Signs are a signage and graphics company that first began over 100 years ago and has been creating a range of products for clients to help them stand out ever since.
The Goal
Stalite Signs have been a loyal client of ours for many years, and they came to us with the request to rebuild their website to reflect their company growth after rebranding in 2021.
The Process
There were many factors included in this process, including a full redesign and rebuild of the site, an SEO transfer and the website launch.
What Did We Do?
Before we could begin the rebuild, we had an initial meeting with the client to discuss their requirements and what they wanted for the website. Whilst listening to their requirements, we ensured to provide our expert advice on the best options for their branding and what would look the best in digital format as well as print.
When designing and rebuilding the new website, we improved the functionality by using an up-to-date theme for it as well as improving the speed and overall performance of the site, which helps the customer’s journey.
This client previously had a shop section on their website, however, after discussing this with the client, we agreed not to include this on the new website as it wasn’t bringing any value to it, and most of the items on the shop were covid related, so just weren’t relevant anymore. Instead, we focused on improving the customer journey for the site, from landing on the homepage to choosing a specific service offered and seeing case studies and testimonials, by adding calls to action and an extensive gallery too.
Digital Marketing
Whilst working on the rebuild of the site, we had the SEO to keep in mind to ensure no rankings or content was lost from the old site. We made sure to check elements like meta titles, meta descriptions, H1 tags, alt tags, and keyword-rich page content. We also checked that removing the shop section of the site wouldn’t have a major effect on the rankings and overall performance of the site.
Launch
Once we had completed the website build and our digital marketing team had done their SEO checks, the website was ready to launch. Throughout the whole process, we were in contact with the client and made sure they were happy every step of the process and reassured of the advice and recommendations we were providing.
