Pellow Flat Roofing is a Cornish company located in Truro, Cornwall. As a business, they have over 40 years’ experience in constructing, maintaining, and repairing flat roofs.
Pellow are a longstanding client of our sister company, WNW Digital, who work on their website for SEO and have worked on other areas of their digital marketing in the past including PPC. The SEO played a large part in the design and build of their site where we worked closely with WNW Digital to ensure the website is fully optimised for rankings and users.
This year they decided it was time for a refresh, their old site was built in early 2015 and was starting to look dated against their competitors. The old site was built using a bespoke CMS system, Mazurka, which was difficult to use due to limited updates, but it was also preventing major growth in their digital marketing because it lacked certain functionalities for SEO.
As we previously mentioned, their competitors were increasingly investing in their online presence making Pellow’s website look dated and in need of a redesign to stay competitive, especially for larger commercial projects.
The platform chosen for the new website was WordPress, this CMS system allows them to edit their website easily, add content and even create or remove pages where needed. All of this is a lot more user-friendly then the backend of their previous platform.
WordPress was also the preferred platform for their digital marketing and SEO needs, WordPress allows their digital marketing team to optimise the site fully to ensure they get the best results from their marketing.
