Orriss and Low are a local independent optometrist that provides bespoke optical and eye health services, including eye examinations, NHS sight tests, contact lenses, orthokeratology, and dry eye assessment to give you the best experience and products.
The Goal
Orriss and Low came to us with the request to upgrade their website after taking on a new owner after the business was sold. They decided it was time to bring the branding more in line with the work they were doing to modernise the inside of the store. They also wanted to bring fresh, new life into the business and its online presence.
In addition to this, we had SEO in mind during the rebuild process, so our Digital Marketing team were involved during the entire process.
What Did We Do?
After talking to the client about their requirements and what they wanted from their website, we began working on the design of their new website. We ensured to carry over the existing site’s booking system but added extra functionality, this was so that if a certain optician was selected, the days that they were available to work appeared and only those days. This means that people are now able to pick who they want and see their availability quickly.
Digital Marketing
When creating the new website, our Digital Marketing team worked on the SEO to ensure that their existing rankings were maintained when moving over.
This included looking at elements like meta titles, meta descriptions, H1 tags, image alt tags, URL structure and keyword-rich content.
Launch Day
After working on and completing the design and build of the website, it was time to launch! The launch of the website proved successful, and the client was very happy with the results, and during the whole process, and how the new website reflected the new era they were taking the business into.
