Brief
MNR Mowers recently came to us needing a new look for their website, to bringing it up to date and improve the functionality. The website had fallen behind in terms of usability and needed to be modernised to keep it up to speed with their competitors.
The website was very small with hardly any information or Call to Action points.
Solution
First we worked on a new modernised design for MNR that kept their brand colours and company feel but brought the website up to date. Once we’d agreed a design the client was thrilled with, we set about building the website in WordPress.
WordPress was chosen as it offers the flexibility of a system that has open-source code and millions of creators building both paid and free plugins, but also the security of established updates and protections. It also features an easy to update back-end admin area, allowing clients to update their website pages easily without needing to contact us every time they want to make a change.
The website content was expanded to include a lot more information, and a drop down menu from the top of the site ensured all this content was easy to find. Product and services were added for the client, with plenty of call to action points and clear direction on where they want their customers to go next.
As many people are browsing on mobile devices these days, a mobile responsive site was crucial, and we ensured the site was also optimised for speed and that it had a secure SSL padlock to keep users and Google satisfied.
Launch day went smoothly and the site was live fast, with the client happy and enquiries coming in via the new functionality.
