Brief
Janes Places came to us with two websites, wanting to combine them into one. They wanted to modernise the appearance of the sites, and make the customer journey more efficient, instead of having information split across two domains. As the business sells accommodation the visual element was very important, and we wanted to really showcase the properties.
Solution
We built their new website in WordPress, and worked on a design with the client and our designer to ensure they were happy with the combination of their two websites into one. The result was a sleeker, more colourful and more modern layout with an easy to navigate menu and a clear stucture for the pages.
Accommodation was showcased in bold images and a clear user journey, and all pages were made mobile responsive to accommodate mobile and tablet users. The website was also fitted with an SSL, a certificate to secure the pages, which shows a padlock in the browser and reassures visitors and Google alike.
Call to action points were built in and links to booking and more information were prominent. The WordPress CMS means that the client can update their website whenever they need to without asking us.
