We are so pleased to announce that Daneswood’s in-house Digital Marketing Manager, Luke Stone, has passed 4 Google Adwords exams this week!
Each year Luke takes the exams in order to stay bang up-to-date with changes and improvements in the finer details of Google’s advertising environment. As we specialize in eCommerce here, the need for setting up and managing Adwords campaigns is increasing, as we see the benefits of online advertising grow each year. Currently Luke handles the full Google Adwords campaigns and budget monitoring for 5 clients, selling everything from Hunter wellies, to high-end skin care products and cat baskets. We also offer ad-hoc advice and training to clients as and when they need it.
This month, Luke is now fully certified in Google Adwords and he also took the following 3 specialist exams:
- Google Adwords Shopping Certification – passing the fundamentals of shopping advertising
- Google Mobile Certification – passing the Adwords fundamentals of all things mobile
- Google Adwords Search Certification – passing the Adwords fundamentals for search advertising
The other benefit of taking these exams, is that it gives Daneswood access to our own agent at Google, which only digital agencies can access. This not only allows us verbal optimisation options within Adwords, but a friendly advisor that Luke can chat to, who normally responds fully to Luke’s questions within 20 minutes. This is really beneficial to us during time sensitive price promotions during peak online shopping periods for our clients.
We always joke that Luke has ‘another tough day on Facebook’ but his immersion in digital marketing 9-5, five days a week, has meant that his skills in online selling are rock solid and provide his clients with a real return on investment. We are immensely proud of his exam achievement.
