A sharp focus on UX design at product level to ensure wall mural ‘dimensions’ and ‘crop’ are effortless and leave the customer feeling ‘happy’.

Walls4U came to us with an existing site that was underperforming and not delivering the ecommerce punch they needed it to have, so we started again from scratch with a WooCommerce site that had all the bells and whistles a design savvy customer would need. The main challenge was to display over 1000 products and allow the customer to input their wall dimensions (width and height) and then finish they wanted (self adhesive or paste), as well as agreeing the crop, in order to get a bespoke price. The intuitive design at this stage was going to be really important to avoid any barrier to sale.

We started with the design however, pulling out their strong USPs of free delivery and fitting kit. Walls4U had provided really fantastic branding and photography which made the design a pleasure to work on. The new shop now has an area for clear products and option choices, Feefo Reviews and social sharing. We also have helpful and informative pages for Fitting Instructions and FAQs and a blog to shout about the latest design trends and products in home decor.

It was important that this project had a bespoke design, rather than off-the-shelf, so it suited the buying functionality of wall murals and wallpaper exactly. We also installed a plugin that allowed the shop to feed into Cloud Commerce their fulfilment company that handled shipping, stock control and warehousing across multiple platforms.

Walls4U now have a really competitive and easy to use WooCommerce shop and an ongoing digital marketing partner with Daneswood, as we help them drive online product sales and gain the social traction they are after. We will continue to work closely with them over the next year to ensure delivery of email marketing, social posting and advertising and Google Ads.
