First venture into online selling for award winning men’s haircare range
MR Jamie Stevens was already an award winning brand, selling their products through Boots the chemist high street stores, when they made the decision that demand for the haircare range warranted investment in its own small online shop.
They already had a great offline PR, online social presence and WordPress site, when they approached us to develop a small shop in WooCommerce. They had a strong marketing team, who brought established brand guidelines and a clear vision for the audience they wished to appeal to, and had already picked out the Wordpress shop theme that they required us to design up.
Our development team worked up the shop theme in WooCommerce with some customisation performed to plugin an instragram feed on the product pages, change the positioning of the cart icon and amended the blog to 4 columns instead of 3. We optimised up the great images which were supplied, which appealed directly to their target male audience. A blog was also included and links to their active social channels. We set up categories and filter system and integrated the new payment gateway. We also performed full migration SEO and installed analytics on the new site.
The whole project was turned around within 6 weeks to meet their tight ‘go live’ deadline. This quick turn around was helped by their marketing team who were very proactive in providing copy, imagery and branding on time, and with quick and constructive feedback throughout.
