Reflecting a personal approach to accountancy services
Mortimore & Co came to us looking for a redesign to bring the website up-to-date with a more contemporary look, and to ensure that the site was fully mobile responsive. Their business provides a wide range of accountancy services (as well as consultancy to larger firms), but their core audience the new website needed to attract was start-ups, SMEs, and private VAT clients.
We built the new site on the WordPress content managed web platform with design that leads on the new photographs they had taken of their team. Their investment in images can be used both online with the new website and in their offline print material. We included strong testimonials and call-to-action saying their first consultation was free. We presented their accreditation and partner logos in a neat and uniform manner, and integrated a Mailchimp email sign-up form. They have a private and password protected ‘Client Login’ area that takes customers through to their ‘Book Keeping’ and ‘OpenSpace’ areas of the site.
We completed migration and basic SEO at the build stage, to maintain and enhance their authority on Google. We also moved their web domain over from .com to .co.uk so it was in line with their emails, which were hosted separately by their IT company.
They now have a website to be proud of, and as they worked hard in gathering great testimonials from existing clients (along with bespoke imagery of those clients), it now evidences their experience and very loyal customer base.
